2012 Business Assessment
The 2012 Business Assessment Notices will be mailed out to all businesses in City of Winnipeg on November 10, 2011 with a deadline of December 1, 2011 to file an appeal with the Board of Revision.
This general assessment will provide businesses with a new Annual Rental Value effective January 1, 2012 which reflects the average net market rents for commercial space similar to the businesses premises. It also includes the comfortable costs to occupy the space which consists of heat, hydro, water and air conditioning where applicable.
The Annual Rental Value is based on a reference date of April 1, 2010, and is indicative of what the rental market and costs were then.
