Added Charges
The City of Winnipeg has the authority that every amount payable to the city under The City of Winnipeg Charter, whether it is a tax, a penalty, a recoverable cost of seizure or sale payable by a taxpayer maybe added to taxes and the City will collect in the same manner as taxes. These charges may include but not limited to the following:

| Board Up | Winnipeg Police Service |
| Miscellaneous Charge Board up | Planning, Property & Development |
| Fire Clean Up | Fire Paramedic Service |
| Clean Up | Community Services |
Once an amount is added to taxes, this amount is subject to all tax penalties and an administration fee will be added to the account for collection purposes. If you are on the Tax Instalment Payment Plan (TIPP), the entire amount will be added to your next monthly withdrawal.
